We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Floor Supervisor to join our dynamic team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our housekeeping department.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Address and resolve any guest/resident complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and overall guest/resident satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures.
For this position, it is desirable to have:
• Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory role;
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
• Knowledge of the Portuguese language.
• Knowledge in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office; Opera PMS).
