As a Hostess intern at Vila Vita Parc, you will be at the forefront of our guests' dining experience, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service from the moment they arrive. You will learn the intricacies of managing reservations, seating guests, and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere in our dining establishments.
Vila Vita Parc Branding and Commitment:
- Demonstrate a steadfast commitment to the values and mission of Vila Vita Parc, contributing to the preservation and strengthening of the brand's reputation and identity in all areas of operation.
- Represent and promote the Vila Vita Parc brand in all interactions and activities, ensuring that our standards of quality and excellence associated with our resort are maintained and reinforced.
Greeting Guests:
- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, engaging with them in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Provide initial assistance and direct them to waiting areas or their tables.
Managing Reservations and coordinate:
- Maintain an organized system for handling reservations, whether through phone calls, online bookings, or walk-ins. Confirm reservations, allocate appropriate tables, and update seating charts as needed.
- Efficiently manage seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and accommodate guest preferences. Consider factors such as table availability, waiter sections, and special requests.
Assisting Guests:
- Anticipate and address guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
- Provide menus, assist with menu selections, answer questions about the menu or venue, and handle special requests or accommodations.
Communicating with Staff:
- Relay important information to waiters, managers, and kitchen staff regarding seating assignments, special requests, and any guest concerns or preferences.
Handling Payments:
- Coordinate with servers to process payments accurately and promptly.
- Provide guests with their checks, process credit card transactions, and handle cash payments if applicable.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
- Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the hostess station, waiting areas, and entrance/exit areas.
- Ensure that menus, promotional materials, and other items are tidy and well-presented.
Personal Competencies:
- Respect the rules of the establishment regarding personal appearance, hygiene, and the working environment.
- Be flexible and autonomous in your role, capable of adapting to changing circumstances and taking initiative when needed.
- Manage stress effectively, maintaining composure and professionalism even during busy or challenging times.
- Accept criticism and use it as an opportunity for growth and improvement.
- Integrate into the team dynamic, contributing positively to its energy and camaraderie.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, ensuring clear and courteous interactions at all times.
In addition to the invaluable experience gained from working alongside our world-class team, you'll receive:
- Shared accommodation (if applicable).
- Meals provided (3 meals a day, 7 days a week).
- Transportation (if applicable).
- Uniforms & Laundry. (except belt and shoes, must be classic and black)
- Traineeship Scholarship – 500€ per month
- Wi-Fi access.
